2026 PROGRAMME

For 59 years, Portaferry Gala Festival has been at the heart of the local community, bringing people together each summer to celebrate the spirit, culture and character of Portaferry and the Ards Peninsula.

What began as a small local festival has grown into a week-long celebration filled with live music, family entertainment, community events, sports, local traditions and unforgettable nights in the town centre.

From Darts Madness, live concerts and dance nights to family fun days, parades, competitions and local favourites such as Pitching the Sheaf and Paper Boat Races, Gala Week offers something for every generation.

Run entirely by local volunteers, Portaferry Gala Festival continues to celebrate everything that makes our town unique — community spirit, atmosphere, tradition and craic.
