Portaferry Gala Committee Should Hold There Heads Up High and be proud of how world massive you have made this town & its festival, Without Gala there would be nothing else in the town and it should be held every year with FerryFm Achemmm lol, maybe extend it to two weeks instead of one week....

I am truly glad that there is nothing sadder in your life than dates and content of the gala.
Regarding the money aspect, save a little every month. The Credit Union has a savings account which is excellent for holidays etc.
I have never been on a float but the enjoyment I get on the Friday night cannot be measured. I was not aware of anyone intoxicated last Friday night.
To the committee:
Please do not even think about having the gala every other year of less. I look forward to it every year as do many others.
